          WORKPLACE SAFETY COMMITTEE


Purpose:

The purpose of the Harmony Area School District Safety Committee is to promote a safe and healthy working environment for each employee by creating and maintaining an active interest in safety by each employee and to assist in the overall effort to minimize the frequency of accidents in the workplace.

To All Employees of HASD:
Please communicate any workplace safety concerns or safety questions to explore to any member of the district Workplace Safety Committee.

ACT 44 SCHOOL SAFETY
& SECURITY COMMITTEE


Purpose:
The purpose of the Harmony Area School District Security Committee is to promote those items found in PA Act 44, which is an amendment to the PA School Code. The group works at design of overall building security as well as safety trainings, situational awareness, behavioral health awareness, suicide prevention & awareness, bullying prevention, and any other factors that enhance a positive school culture while eliminating threats.


Members are:
Doug Martz (Chairperson), Jason Boring, Dara Campbell, Brad Brothers, Regina Fry,
Mark Gobert, Karen Hutton, Guy Kitchen, Doug Rake, and Jessie Romagna
